Waltham, MA – MHSA has rolled out its new Mobile Market program, in partnership with The Greater Boston Food Bank and Waltham-based Eastern States Insurance.
Featured in a recent article by the Waltham News Tribune, the Mobile Market provides free, nutritious food to the public once each month. Volunteers from Waltham and surrounding communities help distribute food at the Mobile Market in the MHSA and Eastern States Insurance parking lot located at 50 Prospect St.
How to participate
The Mobile Market is open to the public and will serve a diverse selection of fresh produce and dairy products, as well as frozen soup and high-protein items, free of charge. All events will be held between 2:00pm and 3:00pm at 50 Prospect St., Waltham, MA 02453. There are no eligibility requirements and the market is open to all in need. While plastic shopping bags will be provided, recipients are encouraged to bring sturdy reusable bags or a rolling cart to help carry canned or frozen items. Events are scheduled for the following dates:
